Ever since I got here in America, I have learned so much about coffee. I’m not even kidding or making this up. When I was in the Philippines, I drink coffee almost every day and most especially when I work night shifts as a call center agent. I would make a stop at a local Starbucks or buy a 3-in-1 coffee at the cafeteria. You may not heard of a 3-in-1 coffee but it’s a thing that we have in the Philippines. So basically each packet already comes with sugar and creamer. It should look like this and if you want to learn more about coffee in the Philippines, you can watch this video. I think there are alternatives like this here in America but you know what, I found something a lot better. Since I work in a retail store, bakery to be more specific, a coffee bar is sitting right next to my spot! Like literally, we are connected. So this guy, Troy – a coffee guru, from time to time will give me a shot of coffee that he dialed. Meaning, something he is trying or tasting to make sure it’s a great product. That experience is amazing and I am shocked on how much variety, aroma, and flavor each coffee has! Until now, I am clueless on how can a coffee bean could taste like orange, chocolate, or citrusy.

The Silent Coffee Grinder by Krups

Because of this experience, I ground coffee beans myself at home and use a regular coffee drip to make it. 2 years ago, we are using a regular coffee grinder, nothing special. Just a regular 7 year old coffee grinder that I also use to grind other herb and spices. Unfortunately, this coffee grinder sparked and broke down. I’m guessing it’s too old now and finally gave up. So I was on the hunt to find the best coffee grinder on Amazon and found this! The KRUPS Silent Vortex Electric Grinder for Spice, Dry Herbs and Coffee, 12-Cups, Black and boy it’s amazing! Before I even make any review on this product, I wanna try it first so I can give you my honest, well thought, no bias, no BS, review. I know that the American Test Kitchen might not agree with me but as a regular citizen living in a regular 350 sq. ft. apartment, this is it!

Just like what it says on the title, it can grind up to 12 cups of coffee, can also grind tons of herbs and spices, its mess free as it comes with a removable stainless-steel grinding bowl and the best part is, IT IS SILENT! I keep on comparing it to the old coffee grinder we had and this product is just phenomenal.

I did posted a video on TikTok on how I used this product and you can check it on this link – https://www.tiktok.com/@jheqie/video/6935814305526893830?lang=en&is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v1. On the video, I shared the product detail as well as how much noise it makes when it’s being used. Just listen to that silence. LOL! I mean it’s not super silent but it’s silent enough to not make you think that I am using an enormous vacuum cleaner!

There are downsides on this product though. It says on the website that it’s mess free but it’s not really. Because of it’s detachable grinding bowl, some of the coffee grounds get stuck at the bottom as well as the sides. It does not mess up your kitchen table or your counter but it still looks messy on the inside that it might bother you at some point. I got used to it though since I’ve been using this product for months now. I will soon upload a picture of how much coffee grounds it makes leaves after using it so stay tuned.

Overall, if you’re looking for a coffee grinder that doesn’t wake up your whole family, don’t create an earthquake on your kitchen table, or make your neighbors think that you’re using an industrial vacuum, this is the product to go. The silent feature is honestly the reason why I am in love with this product and I would recommend it to any coffee lover I know.

I will update this blog every now and then to show the mess and how the coffee grounds after using it. Thanks so much for stopping by. I would rate this 9/10 as a kitchen must have! Also, as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Have a wonderful day and enjoy that freshly ground cup of coffee!
